This Knight & Lady are designed after tombstone rubbings from England. They are designed to either be partnered or to be stitched individually. Hung as banners, the Lady and her consort were used by one customer to flank her wedding altar. Each is stitched in metallic gold floss on 14 count (14 stitches per inch) Black Aida and displayed as a wall hanging. The finished measurements are 6 3/4" wide by 25 7/8" long. They would also look lovely in metallic silver floss (DMC 5283) or any metallic or brilliant color you choose.
